A new (to me) paper mould

I’m a papermaker, not a collector of paper moulds… but there was one particular mould that I wanted. The late Serge Pirard was the last in a long line of paper mould makers. No disrespect to the likes of Lee MacDonald, Tim Moore or Bob Walp, but Serge’s mould-making skills were passed down to him by the great Ron McDonald - the previous ‘last of his kind’ and life-long mould maker. I also thought of Serge as a friend and the lack of one of his moulds in my collection felt like a gaping hole. So I was thrilled when one became available for sale - Thank you Jonas for parting with it, it’ll get good use
