This is a part of the process that I really need to get better at. Surface sizing with Gelatin improves ink holdout, makes the paper stronger and gives it a nice ‘rattle’. My yield was terrible though, I started with 40x good sheets (100gsm, cotton linen mix, wove) and I think I have 10 good sheets after tub sizing. Very frustrating.
